Maggie Cullen

The human form is a source of inspiration in my work. I'm fascinated by our human condition reflected in our bizarre behaviours, the simple folly of human life.

I use a variety of materials, paper being my favourite. I find the ephemeral nature of paper in sympathy with the spirit of my work.

This series of work returns to the theme of ritual and festival. The wall mounted work has paper figures, acrylic paint on wooden boards. I have also included two lost wax solid bronze sculptures.
